Blistex is one of the world’s best known brands for lip care products. For the Benelux countries the Blistex products were packed two types of closed retail packages. The first variant is a small box, just fitting the product with an additional flap containing some additional product information: an ideal packaging for counter display. The other packaging is a larger closed cardboard packaging, unfortunately lacking product visibility and tamper evidence, which are important features of this kind of category products. Intec, the European distributor for Blistex (and many other products) has contacted Ecobliss to evaluate the packaging and to propose a new packaging range. The small box packaging was left untouched. The replacement of the larger closed packaging was created in a matter of weeks: a new packaging range in Ecobliss cold seal was created having perfect product presentation and optimal tamper evidence combined with an easy opening. In September 2009 you will see these new packages will arrive in all stores where Blistex products are sold. Even some of the products have been upgraded and are waiting in the store to help you through the upcoming seasons. So if you still have sore lips this autumn and winter time, you are the only one to blame….
